Job summary

Riverwood Center in Michigan seeks a dedicated clerical support specialist to assist the ACT Team with scheduling, documentation, and community outreach. You will handle communications, prepare reports, and support consumers and staff across seven sites in Berrien County.

Strong computer and communication skills, plus reliable transportation, are essential. This role offers collaborative teamwork and the chance to contribute to services for individuals with behavioral health and developmental

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with adults or children with mental illness or developmental disabilities preferred.
• Reliable transportation for community outings.
• Punctual, organized, and able to work with a team and independently.
• Excellent computer, written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides clerical support to the ACT Team.
• Coordinates schedules, answers phone and schedules appointments.
• Develops, edits, and creates documents using mail merge, spreadsheets, and database programs.
• Maintains, processes, and distributes all team-specific reports.
• Assists consumers/staff in the community.

• Central point of communication, coordinates schedules, answers phone and schedules appointments
• Develops, edits, and creates documents using mail merge, spreadsheets, and database programs as

necessary

• Maintains, processes, and distributes all team specific reports
• Assists consumers/staff in the community

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Prefer experience working with adults or children with mental illness and/or developmental disabilities
• Demonstrated excellent computer, written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to be punctual, organized and possesses the ability to work with a team and independently
• Must have reliable means of transportation for community outings and transporting consumers and

have a valid driver’s license and qualify as a safe driver per the policy of Riverwood Center.
