Job summary

Riverwood Center in Michigan is seeking a licensed mental health professional to work with children and adolescents in home and community settings. The role focuses on assessments, treatment plans, case management, and crisis intervention to support youths and families.

Required is a Master’s degree in a mental health field, 1–2 years of relevant experience, strong computer and interpersonal skills, and reliable transportation for home visits. Must pursue licensure within 30 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides services to children/adolescents with severe emotional disturbances and their families in their home & in the community.
• Prepares comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments, brief assessments, treatment plans, case management/intensive care coordination, crisis intervention and pre-screens as needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in an appropriate mental health discipline.
• One to two years’ experience providing treatment to children/adolescents with serious mental illness
• Excellent computer and interpersonal skills, punctuality, ability to organize and manage several projects/tasks simultaneously and work independently

• Must have reliable means of transportation for home visits and maintain safe driving record

Licensure/Certification

• Licensed by the Michigan Department of Michigan Dept. of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs, (Bureau of Professional Licensing) as a LLMSW, LMSW, Limited Licensed Psychologist and/or LLPC, LPC.

• Must become fully licensed within 30 months of date of hire.
