The Opportunity:

The Clinical Area Manager (CAM) is responsible for driving prescription referral growth and sales through physician offices, clinics, hospitals, and institutions in the Houston territory. This involves consultative face-to-face sales with clients, prospects, patients, caregivers, therapists, and administrators. The role includes analyzing referral patterns, developing account plans, and identifying opportunities to increase volume with existing referrers or develop new referral channels using approved resources to maximize growth and revenue.

Job Outcomes You Must Achieve:

  • Make face-to-face sales calls on physicians, respiratory therapists, medical assistants, patients, caregivers, and administrators in the assigned territory. Work effectively within the territory, collaborating with the Regional Sales Manager, operations, reimbursement team, and other departments. The primary goal is to educate on HFCWO therapy and increase referrals, focusing on adult pulmonology, bronchiectasis, cystic fibrosis, neuromuscular clinics, and patient indications.
  • Analyze referral patterns, prioritize opportunities, create efficient zones within the territory through effective planning and time management.
  • Build strong relationships with top referral sources, understanding their key drivers, and ensuring their needs are met by linking our technology and services.
  • Use consultative selling skills to engage new referral sources and uncover unmet needs based on competitive insights.
  • Complete necessary paperwork and documentation, including expense reports, pipeline, scorecard, calendar, plans, and prescription materials promptly. Communicate closely with managers and cross-functional teams to achieve territory and business success.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or relevant experience
  • 2-4 years of medical sales experience with a strong understanding of healthcare or business
  • Prior airway clearance therapy experience is preferred but not required
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 30%
  • Adherence to Company Sales Process and mastery in consultative selling
  • Proven track record in meeting referral goals
  • This is a remote/in-the-field position based near Houston, TX

Compensation includes a base salary plus uncapped incentives, ranging from $75,000 to over $180,000, depending on performance.
