Job summary

ExactCare Pharmacy is seeking an Application Support Engineer for Clinical Applications. The role focuses on daily maintenance, triage, and administration of critical healthcare applications to minimize outages and support patient care workflows.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in healthcare IT support, familiarity with EMR/EHR systems, and strong problem-solving and communication skills to liaise with vendors, clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in a related field.
• 5+ years in healthcare-based help desk or support environment.
• Proficiency with healthcare software, terminologies, EMRs or EHRs.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide desktop-like support and troubleshoot applications for end users.
• Create and manage user accounts; escalate to development or IT ops as needed.
• Monitor applications and communicate outages or status updates to clients.
• Document issues and troubleshooting steps for audits and knowledgebase.
