Job summary

Thomas Jefferson University is seeking a full-time IT support professional to assist in configuring, implementing, and maintaining technical requirements across development, staging, and production environments.

You will help evaluate processes, conduct feasibility reviews, and assist in documenting specifications and test planning to ensure thorough validation. Strong communication and healthcare IT exposure are preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Healthcare fields is preferred.
• Experience in IT project support or healthcare IT is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills required for cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Learns and assists in identifying technical solutions for business issues and processes.
• Supports analysis and testing of system upgrades and enhancements under guidance.
• Assists in configuration, implementation, and maintenance of technical requirements across development, staging, and production environments.
• Observes and helps evaluate work processes; supports feasibility reviews for small to medium projects.
• Contributes to creating clear specifications and documentation as directed.
• Participates in planning and executing test scenarios with supervision.
• Assists in developing technology standards by applying established practices.
• Supports resource estimation activities for task completion as part of the team.
• Completes assigned tasks on time or communicates variances promptly to management.
