Job summary

Duke Health is seeking an Application Analyst I, II, or 3 – Clinical Applications to join Duke Health Technology Solutions. You will combine business and information systems knowledge to implement, maintain, and support clinical and business applications.

Level 1 focuses on analysis, basic configuration, and user training; Levels 2 and 3 involve advanced support, project coordination, and documentation. A bachelor’s degree is required, with 1–5 years of related experience depending on level.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related clinical or technical field or four years of equivalent experience.
• One year of related experience is required for Level 1.
• Three years of related experience for Level 2 and five years for Level 3.
• Experience with HL7/FHIR interfaces or related healthcare IT environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports Duke Health Clinical and Business applications across levels 1–3.
• Interprets systems and analyzes data with supervision for Level 1.
• Maintains and tests software, conducts training, and documents processes.
• Ensures security and participates in change management and upgrades.
