Position Summary
The Clinical Application Analyst - Lab role at CereCore supports financial end-to-end testing in MEDITECH Expanse for both US and UK projects. This is a remote position based in the mainland US, with potential onsite travel to Nashville, TN.
Responsibilities
- End-user knowledge of Health Information Systems preferably MEDITECH but open to other EMRs like Epic, or Cerner.
- Understands testing concepts and adheres to the workflow and role defined for the Financial Testing.
- Documentation of testing issues following project protocols and communicates verbally to project team(s).
- The ability to prioritize multiple activities and tasks simultaneously and adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
- Has excellent verbal and written communication skills, customer service focus.
- Must be able to display a professional demeanor, positive attitude and high client-focused environment.
- Self-starter who can collaborate with cross-functional partners in a dynamic environment and deliver results.

Requirements
- 1+ years of clinical experience (i.e., Lab Tech, Surgery Tech, Imaging Tech, or Pharmacy Tech) and have strong, hands-on workflow knowledge of how Lab, Radiology, Pharmacy or Surgery work are at the department user-level.
- Executes financial testing scenarios as provided by client following standard methodology.
- Uses knowledge to contribute to system functionality testing, independently with general/moderate guidance to complete testing objectives.
- Participates in testing events and understands necessary outcomes.
- Provides onsite and off-site testing as required by client.
- Prioritizes own tasks and is able to follow instructions to execute tasks.
- Is able to identify risks, issues via approved methodologies and determine build impact following governance and/or reporting plan.
- Understands project deliverables and assigned level of effort to complete and monitors own effort to stay within defined project scope.
- Reviews linked and unlinked reports and determines implementation build status in preparation for testing events and document findings.
- Proficient in at least one HCIS system area (Nursing, Pharmacy, Laboratory, Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Surgery, Radiology, Respiratory Therapy, Physical Therapy).
- MEDITECH experience preferred.
- Healthcare license preferred.
- Proficient in Office suite products: Outlook, Word, Excel.
- Based on client demands, need to be flexible if travel is needed, i.e., Go live onsite visit.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
