Position Summary

The Clinical Application Analyst - Lab role at CereCore supports financial end-to-end testing in MEDITECH Expanse for both US and UK projects. This is a remote position based in the mainland US, with potential onsite travel to Nashville, TN.

Responsibilities

  1. End-user knowledge of Health Information Systems preferably MEDITECH but open to other EMRs like Epic, or Cerner.
  2. Understands testing concepts and adheres to the workflow and role defined for the Financial Testing.
  3. Documentation of testing issues following project protocols and communicates verbally to project team(s).
  4. The ability to prioritize multiple activities and tasks simultaneously and adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
  5. Has excellent verbal and written communication skills, customer service focus.
  6. Must be able to display a professional demeanor, positive attitude and high client-focused environment.
  7. Self-starter who can collaborate with cross-functional partners in a dynamic environment and deliver results.
  8. Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment, taking ownership and initiative and holding self and others accountable.
  9. The ability to think and act decisively, with the ability to achieve results quickly.
  10. Adaptable and flexible, with the ability to handle ambiguity and changing priorities.
  11. Experience in participating with project team or independently with general/moderate supervision to complete project work.
  12. Executes project tasks within defined scope and timeline, appropriately following implementation management methodology.

Requirements

  1. 1+ years of clinical experience (i.e., Lab Tech, Surgery Tech, Imaging Tech, or Pharmacy Tech) and have strong, hands-on workflow knowledge of how Lab, Radiology, Pharmacy or Surgery work are at the department user-level.
  2. Executes financial testing scenarios as provided by client following standard methodology.
  3. Uses knowledge to contribute to system functionality testing, independently with general/moderate guidance to complete testing objectives.
  4. Participates in testing events and understands necessary outcomes.
  5. Provides onsite and off-site testing as required by client.
  6. Prioritizes own tasks and is able to follow instructions to execute tasks.
  7. Is able to identify risks, issues via approved methodologies and determine build impact following governance and/or reporting plan.
  8. Understands project deliverables and assigned level of effort to complete and monitors own effort to stay within defined project scope.
  9. Reviews linked and unlinked reports and determines implementation build status in preparation for testing events and document findings.
  10. Proficient in at least one HCIS system area (Nursing, Pharmacy, Laboratory, Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Surgery, Radiology, Respiratory Therapy, Physical Therapy).
  11. MEDITECH experience preferred.
  12. Healthcare license preferred.
  13. Proficient in Office suite products: Outlook, Word, Excel.
  14. Based on client demands, need to be flexible if travel is needed, i.e., Go live onsite visit.
  15. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
