Job summary

Hattiesburg Clinic in Hattiesburg, MS is seeking a Clinical Analyst to provide analytical, technical, and implementation support for our Epic EHR, focused on ambulatory applications.

You will help implement upgrades, create training materials, test, and maintain the system, and assist end-users with issues, requiring strong communication and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, required
• Strongly prefer: RN or LPN with MS license
• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Health Informatics, Public Health, any natural science or closely related discipline
• In lieu of a formal degree, relevant healthcare experience may be considered
• Working knowledge of an electronic health record (EHR) system and clinical workflows in an ambulatory setting, preferred

POSITION SUMMARY

The Clinical Analyst provides analytical, technical, and implementation support of our world class Epic EHR with a primary focus on our Ambulatory applications. Clinical Analysts are responsible for implementing system upgrades, creating training materials, testing, maintenance, as well as having a working knowledge of Cogito’s reporting capabilities, plus assisting with resolution of end-user issues.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent, required
• Strongly prefer: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing (RN or LPN), with a current MS state license
• Will also consider: Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Health Informatics, Public Health, any natural science or closely related discipline
  • In lieu of a formal degree, relevant healthcare experience may be considered
• Working knowledge of an electronic health record (EHR) system and clinical workflows in an ambulatory setting, preferred
