Job summary

Ease is building the AI-native operating system for behavioral health from its New York City office. You will build AI features that integrate with real clinics, helping clinicians avoid documentation pitfalls and automating routine tasks.

You’ll design evaluation methods to ensure model quality, prototype new AI capabilities including voice agents, and push successful ideas to production in close partnership with the CTO.

Qualifications

• Strong engineering skills and hands-on experience shipping LLM-based features to real users.
• Rigorous evaluation: measure whether a model is right before trust.
• Judgment to know when AI is the right solution or not.
• Comfort talking to customers and translating workflows into precise requirements.
• A strong quantitative or research background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build AI features that sit inside real clinical workflows, such as checking a note against payer and compliance requirements before a clinician finalizes it.
• Design the evals that tell us whether those features are actually right, and keep them honest as models change.
• Spend real time with clinicians and billers to understand the workflow before you build.
• Prototype new AI capabilities, including voice agents, and take the ones that work all the way to production.
• Work closely with our CTO on where AI should change the product next.
