Job summary

Winchester Hospital, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, is seeking a Clinical/Administrative Associate. You will provide clinical and administrative support on the unit, maintain medical charts, and assist with patient transport, specimen handling, and vital signs.

Strong communication and basic computer skills are required, with nursing-related credentials or training preferred. The role includes 2, 12-hour day shifts per week with every other weekend/holiday rotation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant or a nursing student with one medical-surgical clinical rotation.
• Three months of clinical care experience required.
• Graduate of Winchester Hospital’s Clinical Associate Training Program preferred.
• At least one year of prior administrative support experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide both clinical and administrative assistance on the unit.
• Maintain accurate and complete medical charts for patients.
• Copy and fax paperwork to expedite patient care within hospital departments and outside sources as appropriate.
• Assist with ADLs, ambulation, beds, and patient transport.
• Take vital signs and perform EKGs; collect, label and transport specimens.
