Job summary

Mass General Brigham Medical Group Northern Massachusetts, Inc. in Salem is seeking a full-time Clinic/Practice Assistant for the Urology team. Your organized, patient-focused approach will help create a smooth, welcoming experience for patients and care teams alike in a busy outpatient setting.

The role involves scheduling, check-in/out, billing forms, and supporting documentation, with Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. hours, onsite at 400 Highland Avenue, Salem, MA.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Two to three years of office experience required.
• CMAA preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general office operations.

Responsibilities

• Support daily practice operations with administrative duties related to patient visits.
• Schedule appointments, maintain records, and assist with check-in/out.
• Answer calls, respond to inquiries, and route patient needs.
• Process billing forms and support documentation.
• Assist with prior authorizations, prescriptions, and test results.
• Provide training on scheduling, registration, and billing systems as needed.
• Support surgical scheduling and template blocking as needed.
• Collaborate with supervisor to support daily staff activities.
