Job summary

State of South Carolina is seeking an experienced Nursing instructor to supervise clinical experiences under the Course Coordinator, Dean of Health Science, or Assistant Dean of Nursing. You will guide students in clinical labs and select clients for student experiences.

Responsibilities include attending meetings, ensuring course objectives align with clinical experiences, evaluating student progress, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• BSN and active RN license in South Carolina (or compact state).
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience as RN or APRN in relevant field.
• Master's degree in Nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and assist students in clinical laboratory experiences.
• Select clients for student clinical experiences.
• Attend and participate in meetings to ensure alignment of course content with clinical experiences.
• Evaluate student progress and maintain appropriate records.
• Review curriculum and clinical content to support objectives.
• Adhere to agency policies, procedures, and ethics.
