Partnered with an exciting, start‑up company focused on developing vascular solutions for the most significant challenges preventing fistula use in hemodialysis patients.

This company is looking to expand its Clinical Team by bringing on a Clinical Account Manager for the Mid‑Atlantic Region (DC, VA, NC, SC, WV, KY) to partner with the Regional Sales Manager in the region and expand this product into the market.

This Clinical Account Manager (CAM) will assist with new procedure installs throughout the region by providing permanent reinforcement to the artery‑vein connection, promoting stability against wall tension, and decreasing turbulent flow.

Responsibilities
  • Train the surgical team to assist in good patient outcomes and verbally support cases
  • Acquire and maintain current knowledge of perioperative surgical technology practice and hospital and ASC policies and procedures.
  • Develop technical acumen to serve as an educational and clinical resource.
  • Provide continual feedback from customers to continue improving training tools and techniques.
  • Partner with the US Sales team to provide continuity from sales process through clinical implementation.
  • Assist in the delivery of procedural training with physicians and medical staff.
Experience
  • 2-5 years in Experience with procedures in the OR Setting
  • High School Diploma or GED or associate degree with a minimum 4 years in a clinical specialist or related medical role, preferably in a medical device company; OR
  • Customer relationship and procedural skill development experience.
  • Operating Room experience (exposure to surgery/surgical procedures). Vascular experience and dialysis access experience preferred but not required.
  • Clinical Background – Nurses, radiology techs, surgical techs
Skills
  • Ability to provide technical guidance during procedures
  • Skill and experience in providing technical support with physicians and healthcare support teams
  • Ensure accuracy of customer inventory, where appropriate.
  • Proven ability to drive product adoption and utilization
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Education
  • High School Diploma or GED or associate degree with a minimum 4 years in a clinical specialist or related medical role, preferably in a medical device company; OR
  • A bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 years in a clinical specialist or related medical role (Rad. Tech. / Surg. Tech., etc.), preferably in a medical device company.
Additional Qualifications
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and insurance is required
  • Travel throughout Mid‑Atlantic – 50‑60%, Airplane/Car
  • Geography (DC down to South Carolina and out to WV/Kentucky)
  • Must be able to walk, stand, sit, bend and lift to complete the basic functions of the role. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job involve normal vision.
  • Ability to pivot and work in a fast‑paced environment with a positive attitude.
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
