Job description

No agency inquiries. Direct contact from agencies or third parties will not be considered.

Microbot Medical is a cutting‑edge medical device endovascular robotic surgery company, seeking an Endovascular Account Associate to join our team.

We are on a mission to redefine endovascular procedures with the LIBERTY® Endovascular Robotic System, the world’s first single use, remotely operated endovascular robotic system, currently cleared by the FDA, that enables precise vascular navigation while reducing radiation exposure and physical strain.

The peripheral endovascular space is one of the largest markets with clear unmet needs, but still with minimal penetration of robotics. LIBERTY is designed to redefine the endovascular surgical robotics marketplace by overcoming many obstacles that hinder the adoption of other robotic systems by eliminating the large capital footprint and its expenses and creating a system that is easy to use with minimal set‑up time and has the potential to add value for all stakeholders.

About the Role:

As an Endovascular Account Associate, you will support the commercialization of cutting‑edge robotic surgical systems within an assigned territory. Working closely with Area Sales Managers and a Regional Sales Director, you will build relationships with surgeons, hospital administrators, schedulers, and staff to drive product adoption, case coverage, and revenue growth.

We are looking for multiple associates across different geographical areas:

  • Mid‑Atlantic (one person located in or nearby to one of these areas): Philadelphia, or South Jersey
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Provide in‑room technical support during surgical procedures, ensuring optimal system performance, physician satisfaction, and successful case execution
  • Partner with senior sales personnel to identify new business opportunities, conduct product demonstrations, and advance the sales cycle within the assigned territory
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with surgeons, physician users, technicians, hospital schedulers, supply chain teams, and other key stakeholders across assigned accounts
  • Drive procedural adoption and utilization of the LIBERTY® Endovascular Robotic System while identifying and developing new physician users within existing accounts
  • Serve as the primary day‑to‑day contact for assigned accounts, supporting customer onboarding, product education, account maintenance, troubleshooting, and issue resolution to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Educate and train clinical staff on system setup, instrumentation, and safe product use through formal in‑services, procedural support, and ongoing hands‑on training
  • Track territory activity, pipeline progression, account performance, and customer data within CRM systems, and recommend strategies for account growth and retention
  • Collect, document, and communicate customer feedback, procedural insights, and product performance data to support continuous product improvement, marketing initiatives, and commercial strategy
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Clinical Affairs, Marketing, Professional Education, Strategic Marketing and Sales teams to deliver a seamless customer experience and support market expansion across geographies
  • Attend and support regional and national conferences, robotics labs, proctored surgical cases, tradeshows, and key opinion leader (KOL) engagements to increase physician awareness, commercial visibility, and market adoption
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of company products, competitive technologies, healthcare regulations, industry trends, and compliance requirements
  • Meet or exceed quarterly targets, case volume objectives, and overall team performance goals
  • Present and demonstrate the use and benefits of the LIBERTY® Endovascular Robotic System
Other Responsibilities:
  • Travel to and attend relevant industry conferences and trade shows, which may take place during weekends and holidays
  • Attend company dinners and events as needed
  • Meet the travel requirements of the position as outlined below
  • Perform other job‑related duties assigned from time to time, within your scope of practice
Travel Requirements
  • Extensive travel within your territory (80‑90%), and travel outside of your territory as needed
  • Have a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Have a valid passport with the ability to travel internationally
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required; Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Kinesiology, or Business preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years sales experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical field, or minimum of 2 years of relevant field clinical support experience with a medical device or pharmaceutical company, or minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital environment (for example, ER Nurse, OR Nurse, Cath Lab Technician, RT, or Charge Nurse)
  • Experience supporting cases in the OR, Cath Lab, or IR suite is highly preferred
  • Preferably, prior experience with disposable medical equipment or robotic/minimally invasive surgical platforms and physician specialties of IR, VS and IO
  • Must meet all hospital credentialing and vendor compliance requirements necessary to gain and maintain access to healthcare facilities and procedural environments, including background checks, immunizations, and training certifications
  • Demonstrated ability to build rapport with clinical and administrative stakeholders
  • Familiarity with hospital procurement processes
  • Clinical acumen with the ability to discuss detailed procedural workflows and anatomy
  • Highly self‑motivated and goal‑oriented, with a bias toward action and adaptability
  • Understanding of regulatory considerations for healthcare and medical devices
  • Passionate with patient first mindset and a proven track record of acting with integrity and accountability
  • Experience with or ability to learn CRM software tools
  • Comfortable in fast‑paced, high‑pressure surgical environments
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 80‑90% within the assigned territory, including occasional overnight travel
