This position will receive an hourly differential (additional compensation) in addition to the base hourly rate.
JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
- Assists practitioners in performing procedures, handling telephone prescription orders/refills, maintaining patient records, and relaying test results. Performs delegated tasks of direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a physician or mid-level practitioner.

- The Primary Care teams at Samaritan Health Services provide comprehensive healthcare for all family members, from newborns to seniors, through pediatric, family medicine, and internal medicine providers. They promote preventive care, including annual exams, health screenings, and counseling on health and lifestyle.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
- Current unencumbered Oregon Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Paramedic licensure required.
- Healthcare Provider BLS certification required.
- Experience or training in medical terminology preferred.
- Lab/EKG experience preferred.
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience preferred.
