Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in specimen collection or medical field preferred but not required.
• Reliable transportation and ability to work at multiple clinic locations.

Responsibilities

• Collect patient specimens including urine and oral fluid in accordance with Ethos procedures.
• Perform anterior nasal swabs for COVID-19 testing when required by clinic accounts.
• Perform blood specimen collection via venipuncture when applicable to assigned locations.
• Follow established patient identification and specimen collection protocols.
• Maintain specimen integrity by following Ethos SOPs and reference materials.
• Complete and verify laboratory requisition forms and related documentation.
• Label and package specimens for transport to the laboratory.
• Enter patient information into LIS or EMR when required.
