Job summary

Qualifications

• Two or more years of specimen collection, medical, or laboratory experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy certificate preferred but not required;
• Valid state driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
• Able to follow HIPAA and Ethos procedures.

Responsibilities

• Collect anterior nasal swabs for Covid testing per Ethos protocols.
• Obtain blood specimens following venipuncture protocols when applicable.
• Process urine collections and enter results into LIS/EMR.
• Maintain specimen integrity and proper labeling for shipment.
• Track specimens and complete requisition forms and logs.
• Coordinate with facility staff and ensure timely pickups.
• Attend Zoom meetings and participate in required trainings.
• Adhere to safety, quality, and confidentiality standards.
