Job summary

Island Health is seeking a Clinic Scheduler for the Specialty Clinic Floater, part-time, on-site in Anacortes. The role focuses on coordinating outpatient procedures, injections and referrals while maintaining accurate scheduling across clinics.

You will counsel patients on registration and pre/post-procedure instructions, manage the provider’s schedule with imaging and clinic calendars, and ensure proper documentation and recall processes are followed.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in a medical office setting is advantageous.
• Experience with CPT, ICD9 coding and medical terminology is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule outpatient procedures and coordinate with departments, physicians and facilities.
• Counsel patients on registration, prep instructions and pre/post-procedure questions.
• Enter all scheduled procedures into scheduling systems and manage changes.
