Job summary

MercyOne Kimball Family Medicine & Pediatrics Care Clinic in Waterloo, IA is seeking a Clinic RN to provide patient care in outpatient settings, delivering safe, effective, and evidence-based nursing. You will perform assessments, plan, implement, and evaluate care, coordinate with other clinicians, and support patient education and communication.

Schedule is part-time, 24 hours per week, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with no weekends or holidays.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Iowa; compact licensure acceptable where applicable.
• BLS certification required within 3 months of hire.
• Proficient with EMR systems and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient patient care using nursing processes.
• Administer medications and treatments safely.
• Coordinate care with physicians, staff, patients and families.
• Educate patients and families on treatments and health maintenance.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and charting.
