Job summary

Intermountain Health in Miles City, MT, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for an outpatient clinic setting. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care under physician supervision, with emphasis on triage, protocol adherence, and patient education.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program and an active RN license; BLS/ACLS is required. One year of clinic or acute care experience is preferred; IBCLC or wound care certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current/valid Registered Nurse license from the state licensing board is required.
• One (1) year related experience in a clinic or acute hospital nursing setting is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required.
• IBCLC certification and/or Wound care certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs general nursing care to patients by following established standards and procedures.
• Obtains patient consent for care and ensures patient confidentiality.
• Obtains and documents health history, vital signs, and health risk factors; assess disease condition.
• Educates patients and families about health status and management of conditions.
• Executes prescribed treatments and medications; monitors progress and communicates with physicians.
