Job summary

Intermountain Health seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for outpatient clinic care in Miles City, MT. The role covers assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care within a multidisciplinary team under physician supervision.

The position requires an accredited nursing diploma, valid RN license, and BLS/ACLS. One year of clinic or acute care experience is preferred; BSN is a plus, with a strong emphasis on patient education and adherence to protocols.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required.
• Current/valid RN license from state board is required; BLS or ACLS is required.
• One (1) year related clinic or acute hospital nursing experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs general nursing care to patients following established standards and procedures.
• Obtains patient consent and maintains confidentiality.
• Documents health history, chief complaint, vital signs, and health risk factors; assesses disease conditions.
• Delivers care based on guidelines, standards of care, and laws/regulations.
• Executes prescribed treatments, administers medications, and monitors progress; consults with physicians as needed.
• Educates patients and families about health status and condition management.
• Documents assessment and intervention data in medical records.
• Participates in multidisciplinary teams to improve care processes and outcomes.
• Tracks quality assurance data for acute and chronic care management.
