Job summary

MercyOne Kimball Family Medicine & Pediatrics Care Clinic in Waterloo, IA is seeking a Clinic RN for part-time daytime shifts (24 hours/week). You will provide patient care in outpatient settings, coordinate with care teams, and support patient education and safety.

Ideal candidates hold an Iowa RN license, BLS, and are comfortable in a collaborative leadership environment. Proficiency with EMR and basic computer skills is required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Iowa is required.
• BLS certification required within 3 months of hire.
• Must complete Mandatory Reporter abuse training within 3 months of hire.
• Proficient with computer basics and MS Office.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in outpatient setting using nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Coordinate care with physicians, staff, and families; facilitate education.
• Administer medications/treatments via multiple routes and document accordingly.
• Maintain EMR documentation: vitals, histories, labs, and plan of care.
• Assist with scheduling, referrals, admissions, and outpatient procedures.
• Communicate effectively with the care team and patient/family.
