Job summary

MercyOne Genesis Eldridge Family Medicine Clinic, part of Trinity Health, is hiring a Registered Nurse for a part-time day shift. You will provide outpatient nursing care, conduct assessments, and coordinate with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities include medication administration, patient education, and EMR documentation. Requires Iowa RN license, BLS within 3 months, and strong communication in English. Office hours 8:00a-5:00p; PRN; no weekends or holidays.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Iowa; compact state license acceptable where applicable.
• BLS certification required within 3 months of hire.
• Proficient in basic computer skills (Windows, MS Office).
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English; effective patient care communication.
• Completion of specialty classes or other certifications as required for some roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient patient care and coordinate with physicians and staff.
• Administer medications and treatments safely via multiple routes; document accordingly.
• Maintain EMR documentation with assessments, vitals, and education.
• Educate patients and families on treatments, discharge, and health maintenance.
• Participate in staff meetings, quality improvement, and performance projects.
