Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of a nursing degree from an accredited program.
• Current RN licensure in Tennessee.
• BLS certification within orientation; ACLS may be required in specialty clinics.
• 3-month probationary period completing skills check sheet.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial patient assessment and care using the nursing process.
• Document patient information in medical records and monitor accuracy.
• Administer or supervise medications, IV fluids, blood, and products.
• Respond to medical emergencies and initiate CPR as needed.
• Support infection control and environmental duties; supervise staff as directed.
