The Iowa Primary Care Association is actively recruiting a Registered Nurse to provide care at a vibrant community health center (FQHC) in Dubuque, IA.

The role features a 4-day work week, clinic hours 7:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. (Fri 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.), Epic EHR, and a collaborative provider team of 9 doctors and 9 nurses. Benefits include loan repayment, competitive pay, and comprehensive coverage.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Iowa RN licensure.
• Current BLS or CPR/First Aid certification.
• Mandatory reporter training for child and dependent adult abuse.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care nursing services in a community health center setting.
• Collaborate with a provider team to coordinate patient care.
• Utilize Epic EHR for charting and documentation.
• Support patient education and care planning.

The Iowa Primary Care Association is actively recruiting a Registered Nurse to provide care at a vibrant community health center (FQHC) in Dubuque, IA!

What is a community health center (FQHC)?

The largest source of comprehensive primary care for underserved communities and populations.

With an integrated care model that includes medical, dental, behavioral health, and pharmacy services, patients can access comprehensive, coordinated services often under one roof.

Role Details:

• Clinic Hours: 7:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. Monday-Thursday & 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Fridays
• Schedule: flexible 4-day work week within clinic hours seeing approximately 18-22 patients per day.
• Provider team includes: 9 providers with 1 CMA & 1 RN/LPN per provider
• Operatories/Exam Rooms: 18
• EHR: Epic
