Job summary

Iowa Primary Care Association is actively recruiting a Clinic CMA to provide care at a vibrant community health center in Dubuque, IA. The CMA will work within a 9-provider team across a full-service FQHC setting.

Responsibilities include patient care within clinic hours, documentation in the Epic EHR, and collaboration with the provider team. Active Iowa CMA, BLS/CPR, and mandated reporter training are required.

Qualifications

• Active Iowa CMA certification required.
• Current BLS or CPR/First Aid certification.
• Mandatory reporter training for child and dependent adult abuse.

Responsibilities

• Provide care as a Clinic CMA in a community health center (FQHC).
• Support provider team with a daily patient flow of 18–22 patients.
• Document care using the Epic EHR.

The Iowa Primary Care Association is actively recruiting a Clinic CMA to provide care at a vibrant community health center (FQHC) in Dubuque, IA!

What is a community health center (FQHC)?

The largest source of comprehensive primary care for underserved communities and populations.

With an integrated care model that includes medical, dental, behavioral health, and pharmacy services, patients can access comprehensive, coordinated services often under one roof.

Role Details:

• Clinic Hours: 7:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. Monday-Thursday & 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Fridays
• Schedule: flexible schedulewithin clinic hours seeing approximately 18-22 patients per day.
• Provider team includes: 9 providers with 1 CMA & 1 RN/LPN per provider
• Operatories/Exam Rooms: 18
• EHR: Epic
