Ozark Health, Inc. is seeking a Referral Specialist to coordinate and track patient referrals, diagnostic testing, and specialty appointments.

You will act as the key liaison between patients, providers, insurance companies, hospitals, and diagnostic facilities to ensure timely processing of referrals. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple referrals and deadlines while maintaining patient confidentiality.

Job Summary

Responsible for coordinating and tracking patient referrals, diagnostic testing, specialty appointments, and other services ordered by the medical providers. This position serves as the primary liaison between patients, providers, insurance companies, specialist offices, hospitals, diagnostic facilities, and other healthcare organizations to ensure referrals are processed accurately and timely.The Referral Specialist is responsible for managing the referral process from receipt of the provider's order through scheduling, authorization, completion, and receipt of applicable reports or records. This position requires excellent organization, attention to detail, communication skills, follow-through, and the ability to manage multiple referrals and deadlines simultaneously.The Referral Specialist works closely with providers, nurses, clinical staff, front desk staff, billing staff, and outside healthcare organizations to ensure continuity of patient care.
