Job summary

Lucas County Health Center is seeking a full-time Clinic Receptionist to manage patient referrals, coordinate with insurance companies for pre-authorizations and benefits, and schedule testing for referred patients. You will communicate clearly with patients and support front-desk operations.

The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, excellent English communication, and proficient computer usage. This role provides comprehensive benefits and is based in Chariton, IA.

Qualifications

• Abuse Reporter certification required within 6 months of hire.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English well.
• Strong verbal and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with computers and various software programs.

Educational/Experience:

• Mandatory Abuse Reporter certification required within 6 months of hire
