Job summary

The role requires a high school diploma, English proficiency, and commitment to confidentiality. BLS certification or enrollment must be completed within three months of hire, with additional required training

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider certification or obtained within 3 months of hire.
• Mandatory Reporter abuse training completed within 3 months of hire.
• Ability to read, write and understand English and communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information.
• Demonstrate honesty, integrity, and care aligned with Trinity Health values.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors and manage front desk responsibilities.
• Check-in patients efficiently and ensure proper admitting process.
• Answer and direct phone calls.
• Schedule appointments per office guidelines.
• Collect copays and deductibles at time of service.
• Scan or copy insurance information into the EHR as required.
