Responsibilities

• Perform patient check-in at the time of visit and complete all necessary paperwork to ensure an efficient admitting process in compliance with clinic and regulatory policies.
• Answer phone calls and direct them appropriately.
• Schedule appointments according to office guidelines.
• Obtain accurate patient and insurance information, collect copays and deductible amounts.
• Copy/scan patient access related materials (e.g., ID, referrals, insurance cards) into the electronic medical record.
• Prepare charts for patient appointments, ensuring all information is complete.
• Handle patient check-out functions, including pricing services, collecting payments, and scheduling follow-up appointments.
• Assist with record filing and retrieval, including electronic registration documentation.
