Clinic/Practice Assistants support the operations of a community‑based cardiology practice, serving as gatekeepers and ensuring a high‑quality patient experience. Key duties include:
High School Diploma or Equivalent required; no experience in lieu of a degree; 0-1 year healthcare office experience; basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of office operations and standards; ability to use a phone system and manage non‑routine calls; strong written communication skills including email, memos, and letters; effective verbal communication; time management and organizational skills.
Strongly preferred: adaptability, thriving in a fast‑paced healthcare environment, understanding of medical terminology, and experience or familiarity with referral coordination.
