Job summary

UW Health in northern Illinois is seeking a per diem Phlebotomist for the Home Health Clinic in Rockford. You will perform specimen collection, label samples accurately, and ensure proper handling and transport in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Ideal candidates will have a phlebotomy course, HS diploma or equivalent, and 3 years of phlebotomy experience, plus CPT/PBT certification and BLS/CPR. Evening, night, and weekend shifts with on-call pay may apply.

Job description

Work Schedule:

Per diem, varying schedule, you will work at UW Health Home Health Clinic 2550 Charles St.

Additional components of compensation may include:

• Evening, night, and weekend shift differential
• Overtime

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a phlebotomy course. Required
• Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained. Required

Work Experience

• 3 years of Phlebotomy experience. Required
• Computer experience. Required

Licenses & Certifications

• Phlebotomy Technician certification (PBT) or Certified Phlebotomy Technician certification (CPT). Required
• Basic Life Support/CPR Certification. Required
