Job summary

Sterling Health Care seeks a Pharmacy Technician to assist in providing clinic-based pharmacy services and support daily operations. Reporting to the Director of Pharmacy, the role ensures safe, accurate medication dispensing and maintains a confidential work environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• One year pharmacy experience preferred
• Certified Pharmacy Technician preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions under pharmacist supervision, mix suspensions, count tablets, and pour liquids.
• Enter patient data and prescription information into the computer system.
• Prepare and print prescription labels.
• Assist with inventory control of medications and supplies, including ordering and shelving.
