Job summary

Sterling Health Solutions, Inc. seeks a Pharmacy Technician to support our clinic's pharmacy operations. The role assists in dispensing medications under pharmacist supervision and helps ensure accurate patient information and efficient service.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, and at least basic pharmacy experience; certification is preferred but not required. Occasional travel between health center sites is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• One year pharmacy experience preferred.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician preferred but not required.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assists in dispensing prescriptions under pharmacist supervision.
• Reviews prescriptions for completeness and accuracy.
• Enters patient data and prescription information into the computer system.
• Prepares and prints prescription labels.
• Assists with inventory control and stocking.
• Operates the cash register and processes transactions.
• Cleans and maintains a tidy, organized work area.
• Attends required meetings and staff development activities.
• Maintains strict patient confidentiality at all times.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
