Job summary

ReNue RX in Irving, TX is seeking a Pharmacy Compounding Staff Pharmacist to supervise pharmacy operations, ensure timely dispensing, and maintain compliance with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.

You will manage personnel, oversee compounding, and coordinate with clinic staff, physicians, and insurers to uphold quality care and efficient service. Candidates must have a PharmD, TX license, and compounding experience; training offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy.
• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy.
• 3 years Non-Sterile Compounding Experience/2 years of experience as a Pharmacy Operations pharmacist/Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all patients and clinic staff.
• Fill new prescriptions and refills using various forms of compliance packaging.
• Ordering and maintenance of inventory controls within the pharmacy.
• Management of storage and designation of sample medications and patient assistance program medications to clinic clients.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with medical staff and clinic staff as the primary contact between the pharmacy and the clinic.
• Provide drug consultation services to patients and clinic staff.
• Communicate with physicians and offices to obtain prescription details, insurance, or prior authorization information.
• Oversee controlled substance logs and inventory.
• Supervise and coordinate pharmacy staff including technicians, staff pharmacists, cashiers, and drivers.
• Manage rejected claims, perform gross margin analysis, and generate reports for management.
• Sign and retain documentation as Pharmacy Staff pharmacist/Pharmacist of Record.
• Monitor DEA compliance for the assigned pharmacy.
• Participate in clinic committee and staff meetings.
• Assume operating responsibilities including financial performance and meeting company metrics.
• Promote sales and development of a profitable business unit.
