Job summary

ReNue RX seeks a Pharmacy Compounding Staff Pharmacist to supervise pharmacy processes and staff, ensuring timely dispensing and strict adherence to Texas regulations. The role reports to Operations Pharmacist/Manager and acts as pharmacist-in-charge within legal statutes.

Responsibilities include customer service, medication dispensing, inventory control, DEA compliance, and cross‑functional collaboration with physicians and clinic staff to optimize patient care.

Qualifications

• ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy degree required.
• Pharm.D. degree preferred in addition to licensure.
• Minimum 3 years non-sterile compounding experience.
• 2 years as Pharmacy Operations supervisor/manager preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and clinic staff.
• Fill prescribed medications and refills using compliance packaging.
• Maintain inventory controls and ordering within policy.
• Oversee storage of samples and patient assistance program meds.
• Serve as primary contact between pharmacy and clinic staff.
• Provide drug consultation to patients and clinicians when needed.
• Coordinate with physicians for prescription details and prior authorizations.
• Oversee DEA compliance and controlled substance logs.
• Supervise pharmacy staff and ensure certifications are active.
• Analyze margins and generate management reports as requested.
• Sign and retain required documentation as Pharmacy Staff Pharmacist.
• Lead clinic committee activities and participate in staff meetings.
• Drive operation performance and aim for profitable growth.
