Job summary

AbsoluteCare Medical Center & Pharmacy in Baltimore is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to lead the clinic's pharmacy services, oversee clinical care programs and daily operations, ensure dispensing accuracy, and support the care team in optimizing medication use.

Responsibilities include staffing, training, workflow design, inventory control, 340B program management, and collaboration with providers, nurses, and case managers to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm D required.
• Registered Pharmacist without restriction in state of practice required.
• 3 years’ experience as a pharmacist/pharmacy manager within a clinic or community health setting.
• Experience with interdisciplinary teams focused on patient-centered care.
• Clinical pharmacy programs or MTM experience.
• Management experience preferred, especially in clinical-team oriented settings.
• Experience with 340B program preferred.
• Knowledge of Medicaid/Medicare/government programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to members using pharmacy services.
• Develop, implement, and monitor daily procedures and workflows within the pharmacy.
• Manage pharmacy team including hiring, onboarding, and training.
• Supervise schedules and performance of pharmacy staff.
• Ensure counseling and support to members.
• Oversee quality, safety, and accuracy of medications and claims.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and case managers.
• Develop and oversee clinical pharmacy programs for target populations.
• Handle inventory management, storage, and transportation of medications.
• Coordinate deliveries and mailings of prescriptions.
• Ensure proper 340B inventory processes.
