Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of UnitedHealth Group, seeks a Pharmacy Technician - Clinic Pharmacy Liaison to be an on-site resource at partner clinics. You will coordinate between Genoa pharmacy teams, clinic care teams and patients to promote timely medication access and excellent patient experience.

Responsibilities include coordinating prescription routing, adherence outreach, and enrollment, while ensuring HIPAA compliance and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Active Pharmacy Technician License in state of residence or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Certification (CPhT) is preferred or required depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an on-site pharmacy resource within the partner clinic to coordinate care.
• Build relationships with clinic staff, providers, and pharmacy teams.
• Assist with prescription routing and prior authorizations.
• Monitor prescription status and resolve delays.
• Recruit and enroll patients into Genoa services.
• Conduct adherence outreach and manage refills.
• Coordinate medication delivery as allowed by state regulations.
• Maintain accurate documentation and insurance information.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and regulatory adherence.
• Identify workflow gaps and support process improvements.

Education
