Job summary

Novant Health is seeking a compassionate, patient-focused Medical Assistant-like role in a specialty clinic. You will room patients, collect vitals, document information in EPIC, and support scheduling and check-out activities under supervision. The role emphasizes accurate documentation, patient care, and teamwork.

Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The position does not perform invasive procedures and requires Basic computer skills and a strong patient-service orientation.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• 2 years acute experience preferred for CNA1; 1 year CNA2 or EMT preferred.
• 1 year healthcare setting or PA/Med student in accredited program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain vital signs; prepare for provider visits.
• Assist with examinations, screenings, and procedures within scope.
• Perform point-of-care tests and document results accurately.
• Maintain patient records and support referrals, scheduling, and check-out.
• Create a welcoming, patient-centered experience with excellent service.
• Collaborate with providers and team to ensure efficient clinic operations.
• Maintain required certifications and pursue ongoing professional development.
