University of Southern California (USC) Las Vegas Clinic seeks a Back Office/Clinical Supervisor to manage administrative and clinical operations. The role includes supervising staff such as Medical Assistants and LVNs, coordinating room and staff assignments, and training personnel to comply with hospital policies.

The position serves as a liaison for physicians and external departments, ensures secure patient areas, and supports quality of care while coordinating scheduling and authorizations

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent required.
• 2–5 years in a related role.
• Lead or Supervisory experience.
• Clinical & Office management with admin experience.
• Organization/time management skills.
• Demonstrates effective oral and written communication.
• Knowledge of all insurance types, including government programs.

Responsibilities

• Supervises at least two full-time staff or the equivalent.
• Acts as a personal contact for physicians, staff and outside departments.
• Generates Daily Room/Staff Assignments and arranges coverage.
• Trains clinical staff to ensure compliance with hospital policies.
• Schedules clinic and surgery appointments; coordinates authorizations.
• Balances cash drawer daily; handles copays and cash payments.
