Qualifications

• Supervisory experience including recruitment, performance appraisal, expectations, discipline, and training.
• Ability to analyze information to define objectives and identify alternatives.
• Proficient with MS Word and Excel.
• Interpersonal skills to work with diverse faculty, residents, students, and staff.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology.
• Writing skills to prepare concise reports.
• Familiar with computerized appointment scheduling and registration systems.
• Understanding of major medical insurance plans.
• Ability to work occasional weekends or evenings.

Responsibilities

• Oversee business and patient care functions of assigned UCLA Health Community Clinics.
• Supervise medical front and back office staff.
• Coordinate clinical services and provide daily administrative and operational oversight.
• Oversee space management and ensure appropriate facility use.
• Interpret and solve problems with broad guidance.
• Review goal attainment with the Director on a regular basis.
