Job summary

FirstHealth of the Carolinas is seeking a Clinic Manager to lead operations for a multi-location clinic in central North Carolina. You will manage budgets, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive policies with FH HR support, while supervising staff and coordinating with billing and risk management.

The ideal candidate has a BS degree in a related field, at least three years of supervisory experience in a physician practice or hospital setting, and strong financial, analytical, and communication

Qualifications

• BS degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Healthcare Administration or equivalent.
• Minimum of three years’ supervisory experience in physician practice or hospital settings.
• Strong financial/analytical, verbal and written communication, and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of insurance rules, reimbursements, CPT and ICD-10 coding.

Responsibilities

• Manage operating and capital budgets with attention to discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards (e.g., HIPAA, OSHA).
• Develop and implement clinic policies with oversight from FH HR and guidelines.
• Hire, train, coach, and supervise clinic staff.
• Resolve patient concerns and coordinate with risk management.
• Oversee billing procedures, co-pays, and end-of-day reconciliations.
• Promote clinic growth by improving access and reducing wait times.
