Job summary

EPIC Health is seeking an experienced Practice Manager to lead a busy Warren, MI primary care clinic. You’ll balance patient care with financial performance, quality, staffing, and growth while building a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

You will guide operational leadership, manage staff development, and optimize workflows to deliver an exceptional patient and employee experience across the clinic.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of healthcare operations leadership experience in a primary care, multi-specialty, or outpatient setting.
• Demonstrated success leading clinical and administrative teams.
• Experience managing clinic operations, staffing, patient flow, scheduling, and financial performance.
• Strong understanding of operational metrics, provider productivity, and workflow optimization.
• Experience implementing process improvements and driving operational change.
• Excellent leadership, coaching, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHRs) and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operations of a busy primary care practice.
• Ensure efficient patient flow, provider productivity, and operational consistency.
• Monitor KPIs and implement action plans to improve performance.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement sustainable process improvements.
• Ensure clinic readiness, staffing, supplies, equipment, and workflows support high-quality patient care.
• Drive accountability for operational excellence, patient satisfaction, and financial performance.
• Recruit, interview, onboard, coach, and retain high-performing clinical and administrative staff.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and development planning.
