AltaMed Health Services is seeking an Clinic Assistant Director to oversee ambulatory patient care by supervising daily operations and staff across one or more clinics in a compliant, patient-focused manner.

The role emphasizes maintaining clinical practice standards, budgets, and staff development while aligning operations with nursing standards and organizational goals. Strong regulatory knowledge and budgeting skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or two years of experience in a directly related healthcare field, and actively working on a Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience with TJC, federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.
• Experience developing and monitoring budgets and resource allocations.
• Experience in monitoring financial performance and identifying strategies to reduce costs and improve the quality of care/service.
• Bilingual English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese preferred.
• A valid BLS certification or higher per AHA/Red Cross guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing a single or multiple clinics, supervising daily operations and patient care activities.
• Ensure staff provide high-quality, accessible, cost-effective, and patient-focused services to patients across the continuum that comply with local, state, and federal requirements.
• Implement and supervise the maintenance of clinical practice standards, budgets, and staff development.
• Assist in integrating services/operations with nursing standards of practice, service priorities, and performance/outcome measures, as well as with business, departmental, and organizational goals/objectives.
