Job summary

Community Health Center of Southeast Kansas, Inc. (CHC/SEK) seeks a Practice Manager to lead daily clinic operations, oversee registrations, and collaborate with providers and leadership to ensure efficient workflows and high-quality patient care.

The role requires proactive leadership, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare setting while maintaining excellent customer service and compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• Degree in health care administration or related field preferred.
• 3-5 years supervisory/leadership experience in health care recommended.
• Fluent in English; bilingual a plus.
• Valid driver’s license; travel required.
• Current BLS certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of one or more clinic locations to ensure efficient workflows and high-quality patient care.
• Coordinate/provider/staff schedules to ensure appropriate staffing and coverage.
• Lead and develop Registration staff and collaborate with clinical leadership.
• Implement and reinforce clinic policies, workflows, and safety standards.
• Promote positive patient experience and monitor access and satisfaction.
• Communicate updates and escalations to leadership and departments as needed.
• Support quality improvement and clinic safety initiatives.
• Foster a positive, respectful work environment and onboarding for new staff.
