Job summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health in Seattle seeks a Clinic Supervisor to oversee the daily activities of patient access and clinical staff, ensuring services are delivered efficiently, cost‑effectively, and in full compliance with objectives and regulations.

You will supervise staff (hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating), manage patient access and/or clinical office services, and act as a critical liaison between departments to troubleshoot issues and streamline operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field with three years leadership experience OR
• Masters Degree

Responsibilities

• Oversee and evaluate the daily activities of assigned patient access and/or clinical staff.
• supervise staff (hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating)
• manage patient access and/or clinical office services
• serve as a liaison between departments
• troubleshoot issues
• identify opportunities for operational streamlining
• schedules, supervises and evaluates the work of assigned staff
• acts as first line of escalation for patient relations matters
• supervises daily operations of assigned support functions
• ensures patient information is entered and updated in appropriate systems
• identifies opportunities to streamline current operations
• oversees scheduling of depositions/conferences with providers/attorneys billing for services
