Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of medical assistant experience, preferably in family medicine.
• Three years with one year in a lead role preferred.
• High school diploma or GED; accredited Medical Assistant program desirable.
• Valid CMAA certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Screens and assist with patient care per protocols and supervising provider instructions.
• Perform accurate charting in medical records per SCC policies.
• Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and infection control practices.
• Assist nurses and providers as needed and manage appointment scheduling.
