Position Overview
Under the general guidance of the medical director and in accordance with the Iowa State Board of Nursing and/or the Iowa Board of Physician Assistants, the nurse practitioner and/or physician assistant will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with diseases and adverse health conditions following the appropriate medical practice guidelines. Provides medical care to patients of varying types and acuity and responsible for the continuous and comprehensive management of a broad range of health services. Utilizes the knowledge and skill acquired through specialized training, to promote health, prevent disease, and to assess patient health care management. Patient care is to be delivered in collaboration with and/or under the direct supervision of the physician. Performs assigned procedures and duties within the scope of practice as set forth by the Iowa State Board of Nursing or Iowa Board of Physician Assistants. Regular attendance is an essential function of this position.

This position is for an occasional ARNP/PA for the JCHC Walk-In Clinic. Hours will vary depending on weekday or weekend coinciding with the Walk-In Clinic hours and need.

Monday - Friday 8:00a -7:30p
Saturday 8:00a - 3:30p
Sunday 10:00a - 3:30p
