Job summary

North Memorial Health in St. Anthony is seeking a Medical Laboratory Assistant to join our clinic team. You will collect and process specimens and perform a range of clinical laboratory tests to support diagnosis and monitoring for patients of all ages.

The role is on-site, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with a supportive, inclusive work culture and opportunities for growth within a leading health system.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Accredited phlebotomy or medical assistant program preferred.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Assistant or Medical Assistant program.
• Minimum of one year current laboratory experience in a clinic or hospital setting.
• Course in medical terminology and at least two semesters of biology and/or chemistry.

Responsibilities

• Collect and process customer specimens and perform a range of clinical laboratory tests.
• Assist in diagnosis and monitoring across patients from infants to geriatrics.
• Work independently and with multiple departments to ensure accurate results.
