Job Responsibilities:

1. Performs clinical and clerical tasks.
2. Assists in the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a provider.
3. Interviews patients, measures vital signs, and records information on patients' charts.
4. Prepares treatment rooms for the examination of patients.
5. May administer injections, perform x-rays, perform laboratory services, and perform clinical testing such as EKGs.
6. Performs routine clerical functions based on knowledge of medical practice procedures and policies.

Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of a Medical Assistant Program or Certified Nursing Assistant Program - Preferred.
